It’s coming to a pointy end of the year! Here is a summary of all the upcoming new VR releases Quest 2, PSVR, PC VR and Pico platforms in October 2022.

Recently Released – End of September 2022

While we got most of last month’s releases on our site last round At the beginning of the month, there were also a few surprises in September.

to remember VRigade Crisis Series? Well, the second game in the series has been renamed as crisis Brigade 2: Reloaded and it’s now Available through the official Quest Store for the first time.

In terms of updates to existing games, Little Cities has got A cool new set of content in the free attractions update. Along the same lines, Walkabout Mini Golf has launched the latest paid DLC tournamentbased on Jules Verne’s classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

New VR Games October 2022

Townscaper VR (6th of October – Quest, Pico)

Stemming from a flat game released in 2021 by a solo developer Oskar Stålberg, Townscaper is A city builder who has no goals or objectives. Just create a beautiful seaside city with different colors and shapes by placing items and layout layout with the help of game algorithm.

Runner is an ’80s-inspired title from independent studio Truant Pixel that blends motorcycle racing and gunfighting with an anime flair – anyone else who gets Akira vibes or just me?

Runner’s Quest 2 is released on October 6. A PC VR version is in the works as well, but the release date for that is still TBA.

Unplugged – Rocktober (October – Quest 2)

During October, VR air guitar Unplugged is introducing four new tracks as part of the Rocktober Challenge. When each song is released, you will have one week to play the new song in difficulty and compete for rewards by placing it on the global leaderboards. There are rewards for the top 100 leaderboard scores for each song, but the top ten will unlock a unique guitar skin. This week, it’s the rock guitar skin pictured above.

The new songs are Eddie Gray – Hideaway (October 3), The Sound Room – Against (October 10), The Final Round – Spark (October 17), and Vitne – Say Goodbye (October 24).

VR Order – Early Access (October 20th – VR for PC)

I know what you’re thinking – wasn’t this listed as last month’s September issue? Yes, but the September Early Access launch date has been pushed out in the middle of the month, from September 22nd to October 20th.

The Four-player online co-op survival title It will be available in Early Access via Steam later this month.

Half-Life: VR Mod (October 20 – VR PC)

Hot off Last month’s launch From the long-awaited Half-Life 2 VR game on Steam, Another community-made mod (by a different team) to the original Half-Life will make the game playable in VR via Steam later this month..

Morels: Homestead (PC VR – October 27)

Morellis: Homestead Released for Quest late last year, but now it’s coming to PC VR as well. thisAndbox VR adventure will let you unwind and unwind by building your own country house, which will launch on October 27 via Steam.

Hardware versions and other surprises?

The list above isn’t huge, that’s right, but nonetheless it looks like a big month for virtual reality. There will likely be some surprise launches later in the month that we don’t know about yet.

Meta is scheduled to host its annual event Connect Conference on October 11th, So there’s a good chance we’ll get some game announcements, ads, and/or releases during the keyword, as usual.

On the hardware side of things, Zuckerberg noted that Quest Pro will launch later this month (Although it’s not a gaming-focused device.) Similarly, the Pico 4 is Scheduled to ship on October 18 to Europe, South Korea and Japan – Could you Read our impressions of the headset here.
