In anticipation of Homestead-Miami Speedway’s return to the NASCAR Playoffs, and the debut of the dynamic NASCAR ‘Next Gen’ car, fans will get ‘Free’ First look at the machines that delivered a historic year of incredible competition in the NASCAR Cup Series during a testing session on Tuesday, September 20.

NASCAR’s most competitive 1.5-mile venue in select front stands will be open to fans from 12:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on the first day of a two-day session (September 20-21). Top sports teams will gear up for the Dixie Vodka 400, the second race in round eight of the ASAR Cup Series Playoffs on Sunday, October 23. For the first time on a South Florida track, the sleek new test will showcase the design and competition-focused next-generation car that produced 17 winners from the first 27 races in 2022.

Both parking and admission will be free for testing Tuesday, September 20th. While the runway gates open at 12:00 PM, parking lots open at 11:30 AM (Address: One Ralph Sanchez, Speedway Blvd, Homestead, FL 33035). The trackside hot spot features colorful displays created by local artists, reflecting the vibrancy of the latest Speedway rebranding itself. With all new signage and bright color schemes throughout, Next Generation Test will be your first personal look at the facility’s recent reshoot, which opened in 1995.

The Container Bar provides a glimpse into just one of the many unique activations that will be on display in full this weekend at NASCAR Tripleheader Playoffs October 22-23, which also includes Larry’s Hard Lemonade Beach Bash (fans can see it from the grand stands during the test ).

The next-generation car, which debuted the points push at the season opener DAYTONA 500, provided a record year for the sport with winners, but also produced the most green flag passes for the first 27 races of the season. . The first NASCAR Series also saw five “first-time” winners in 2022. The new car was designed to include body elements that better replicate the look and feel of a street car, while emphasizing the foundations of early racing.
