This year, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning are set to host the CMA Awards. While Brian has hosted the awards show in the past, this was Manning’s first major hosting party, and it’s something Brian doesn’t worry about.

Brian is sure that although Manning, the legendary former NFL quarterback, is not a country music artist, fans will respond positively to him given that he has a deep love for country music.

“We both don’t take ourselves too seriously,” Brian told Fox News Digital. “And he’s obviously been in front of the TV. He’s always done well in front of the camera, and he’s a longtime fan of country music.” “I think on stage we’re going to be able to, you know, have a lot of fun with the audience and make it a really special night.”

Manning is thrilled to be a part of country music’s biggest night, saying in a statement, “I am a huge fan of country music, so to have the opportunity to stand among so many incredibly talented artists is an absolute honor.”

On Brian’s side, the “Drink a Beer” singer hosted the show in 2021 alone, succeeding 2020 hosts Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker.

“I mean, we’ll see what the big topics are,” Brian said before the show. “You know, going to this week. And we’re going to have some fun with people.”
